Today, Like Every Other Day
Today, like every other day, we wake up emptyand frightened.Don’t open the door to the studyand begin reading.Take down a musical instrument.Let the beauty we love be what we do.There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.
~ Rumi
As the world speeds along with intensity—so much noise, so much urgency—it can feel like a constant push… doing, achieving, handling, fixing. And in all that rushing, we forget to actually live. To feel. To savor. To breathe. 🌬️💛
This week in the Shakti Sisterhood, we’re focusing on something revolutionary: Reclaiming Pleasure. 💃 Because pleasure isn’t just for vacations, special occasions, or when everything feels easy. It’s a lifeline. A way back to yourself when the world feels heavy. A way to rewire your body from stress into deep, nourishing presence. And I can tell you from experience—it works. This past weekend, I really practiced what I’m sharing with you, and it made a huge difference in how I’m showing up for life. I feel more grounded, more open, and more capable of handling everything with ease. ✨🌿
And here’s the thing—pleasure isn’t something you have to chase. It’s already here. 🌸 You can seek it intentionally—light a candle 🕯️, turn on music that moves you 🎶, wrap yourself in something soft. Or you can notice what’s already present—the warmth of your tea ☕, the stretch of your body 🧘♀️, the golden light at the end of the day 🌅. Both are powerful, both are healing, and both remind you that life is happening now, not later.
This is my prayer for you this week—that you find moments of deep, nourishing pleasure, that you soften into the beauty already around you, and that you remember how sacred it is to simply be. 💖🙏
With love & presence,
Deb 🌸✨
