Joy and Wisdom from My Grown Kids
Dear Sister,
My heart is still buzzing with the pure magic of the past 5 days spent with my three incredible “children.” 🌟 Being a mom and bonus mom to these two amazing young men and my beautiful daughter-in-love is an absolute blessing. We've been soaking up all the goodness that Ciudad Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende have to offer together! 🇲🇽💖
We've taken leisurely strolls and invigorating hikes, enjoyed breathtaking sunsets, marveled at awe-inspiring architecture, lost ourselves in the beauty of art, savored amazing food, and rejuvenated in thermal springs.🚶♀️🌅🏰🎨🎵
But, you know what really lit me up? The heart-to-heart conversations we had about the things that truly matter. 💬💕 The wisdom they shared and the dreams they hold so tenderly ignited a spark within me. Dreams of spending more time in nature, following a path of meaningful work, savoring moments with family and friends, exploring other cultures, and contributing to positive change instead of getting caught up in the world's problems. Can you feel that radiant energy? 🌠✨ It’s like the lines of Chelan Harkin's soulful poem, "Take A Stand," came to life in front of me. 📜
I dedicate these empowering lines from her poem to Micah, Jacob, and Sarah and to all of you:
